As a solo traveler, felt completely safe. Daily health checks, great food, proper equipment. Summit success rate impressive.
Hard but worth every step
Summit night was brutal - cold and altitude sickness. But the sunrise from the roof of Africa made it all worthwhile. Prepare well!
Best mountain crew in Kilimanjaro
Singing porters, knowledgeable guides, delicious meals at 4,000m. Tips ceremony at end was emotional. Fair treatment of crew evident.
Stella Point sunrise breathtaking
Reaching Stella Point at dawn was emotional moment. Glaciers glowing pink, crater below. Harder than marathon but 100x more rewarding!
Rainforest to moonscape in one trek
Machame route diversity amazing - started in green rainforest, ended on rocky alpine desert. Felt like walking through different planets!
Pole pole approach works wonders
Slow and steady really works! Initially frustrated by pace but summit day felt strong while others struggled. Trust the guides wisdom.
Lemosho route variation worth it
Did 8-day Lemosho variation - extra day for acclimatization helped. Shira Plateau camping was spectacular. No altitude issues at all.
Female solo traveler felt safe
As solo woman, felt completely safe with this company. Female porter available, separate tent. Summit photo with Tanzanian flag - proud moment!
Summit at sunrise on New Year
Reached Uhuru Peak January 1st at sunrise - best way to start 2026! Guides sang celebration song. Glaciers glowing pink unforgettable moment.
Barranco Wall scramble fun
Barranco Wall scrambling section actually fun, not scary! Scenery changes daily amazing. Porters carried guitar and played at camp. Magical experience.
